On Saturday, we had an excellent party for the release of my husband Brad Stone's book Gearheads on robot competitions and competitors. I could tell you about the party, the robots informing people that they, in fact, were not police officers, the motorized couch running down little kids, the intuitive Segways and their patient owners teaching everyone how to ride, or you could just take a look at this picture of the fantastic interplanetary bartender, Flash, mixing up a daquiri in the V8 blender.
